Afghanistan announces $1 million in aid to Palestinians

 
Afghanistan will contribute one million US dollars to the United Nations Palestinian refugee agency. Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Rabbani said. The announcement comes after the United States halted all funding to the agency last year.
 
Rabbani called for efforts in support of the Palestinians’ right to establish their independent state within the 1967 borders, with East Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital. “The occupying force (Israel) has conducted, in flagrant violation of international law, its unjust and illegal policies against the people of Palestine including women and children,” Rabbani said.
