| Despite the great victory in the United Nations, we cannot celebrate until the punishments are handed down. The murderers are jailed. Israel is isolated and its rulers- anyone who hand in the decisions of the political thug-in-chief Netanyahu – must be treated as common criminals, child murderers, destroyers of civilization, and are tagged as barbarians. The consolation is that Israel is now officially a genocide State. They have no place to hide. Nor their supporters. They will lose the war and will flee unless they confess their crimes, apologize in the equivalence of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. UNGA resolution, backed by 124 countries, makes it clear that occupation ‘cannot be allowed to continue any longer’. The measure isolates Israel days before world leaders travel to New York for the UNGA, with six days of speeches from world leaders kicking off on September 24. In a new report published against the backdrop of intensifying Israeli military operations in Gaza City, the UN Independent Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian territories, urged Israel and all countries to fulfil their obligations under international law “to end the genocide” and punish those responsible.“The Commission finds that Israel is responsible for the commission of genocide in Gaza,” insisted Navi Pillay, Chair of the Commission. “It is clear that there is an intent to destroy the Palestinians in Gaza through acts that meet the criteria set forth in the Genocide Convention.”Please disseminate the following report widely.
